DeLonghi Ice Cream Makers

DeLonghi, as well as making ice cream makers under their own brand name, also produce machines under various other brand names, the most popular of them being Simac, Lello and Musso.

Most DeLonghi/Simac/Lello/Musso ice cream machines are equipped with their own compressor/freezer so there is none of the inconvenience of using ice and salt or freezing canisters.

DeLonghi's best selling own brand name machine is the ICK8500. A 1.5 quartl machine which as well as having a compressor chilled build-in mixing bowl which you might use to make ice cream that is going to be eaten straight away, also comes with a detachable secondary bowl that you can put straight into the freezer if you need to store the ice cream for any length of time.

Under the Simac brand name DeLonghi markets the GC4000, a I.8 quart automatic ice cream maker whose Italian heritage is exposed by its secondary name, the Il Gelataio Ice Cream Maker. So as well as ice cream get ready to whip up a selection of gelato, sorbet, sherbets, frozen yogurt and frozen drinks.

The prime ice cream maker of the Lello brand is the Lello 4070 Gelato Junior. Once again this 1 quart unit is much more than just an ice cream maker coming with recipes for gelato and sorbets.

At the commercial quality end of the DeLonghi range are the Musso ice cream makers. Models include the Musso 4080 Lussino dessert maker, a 1.5 quart machine and the Musso Pola ice cream maker, a 2 quart machine, both in stainless steel.
